The Tackle House Tuned K-TEN TKLM 120 is one of Japan’s most respected slow-floating lipless minnows — 120mm, 18g — built for Japanese seabass fishing in estuaries and harbours where a slow, deliberate presentation in the top 50cm of the water column is exactly what’s needed. The TKLM’s slow-floating design lets you work it on a pause-and-go retrieve, hanging in the strike zone longer than a standard floating minnow and triggering strikes from mulloway and tailor that are holding in the water column rather than actively chasing.

This is the LTD-2 Chrome Green — a genuine limited edition colour, not a standard production finish. The full-chrome green body catches light differently from painted lures, producing a flash and shimmer that is particularly effective in low-light conditions and on the Swan River where fish are used to seeing baitfish with a green/silver flank. Limited colours like this are not restocked once they’re gone.

HOW TO FISH IT

Work it on a slow to medium retrieve along estuary edges, channel margins and shallow flats. The slow-floating action lets you pause and let it rise — effective for mulloway holding in the water column during low-light feeding windows. Increase the pace for tailor and salmon. Best fished around the Swan River, Peel-Harvey and beach gutters where a 120mm profile matches the local baitfish.
