The Rolling Bait 77 is a Japanese sinking vibration lure — 77mm, 15g — built around a tight rolling action that produces a very different presentation from the long-profile minnows that dominate most WA estuary kits. At only 77mm but a solid 15g, it casts well for its size and sinks quickly, giving you access to deeper water and faster current that a floating minnow simply can’t reach.

This is a Casting Limited edition in Clear Pink / Black Hearts — a transparent hot-pink body with a distinctive black heart pattern that is genuinely unusual and worth highlighting. The transparent body lets light through in a way that solid-colour lures don’t, and the heart pattern makes it immediately recognisable in the water. It’s not just a colour — it’s a conversation piece that also catches fish.

HOW TO FISH IT

Cast it out, let it sink to the desired depth, then retrieve steadily to activate the tight rolling action. Vary the sink time to target different depths — count it down to the bottom for flathead, or fish it mid-column for tailor and mulloway. Works well on a straight retrieve or with short pauses. Effective from the bank, jetty or boat across estuary channels, river mouths and deeper structure.
