The ima Sasuke 120 Reppa (裂波) is one of ima's most recognised Japanese seabass lures — 120mm, 17g — built for shallow, fast-running water where a tight-wobbling floating minnow needs to hold its action against current. The Reppa (裂波, meaning ‘ripping wave’) variant is specifically tuned for faster retrieves and stronger current than the standard Sasuke, making it a natural fit for WA estuary fishing where tidal flow and current are part of the equation.

The Pink Gold colour is a high-vis attractor pattern — holographic gold back, vivid pink belly and sides — that stands out in low light and dirty water. Exactly the kind of colour that gets noticed by mulloway and tailor on a night tide or early morning run.

HOW TO FISH IT

Fish it on a slow to medium retrieve along estuary edges, channel margins and shallow flats. The floating action lets you pause and let it rise — effective for mulloway holding in the water column during low-light feeding windows. Increase the pace for tailor and salmon. Best fished around the Swan River, Peel-Harvey and similar estuary systems where current and tidal flow are present.
